Behind the Canvas

There were art schools, detours, silences… and the moment I lost myself.

I have always needed to draw, as if images were a way to help me free myself from all those little things that sometimes take up so much space inside.

Drawing allowed me to find myself.

Today, I paint what I feel, what I observe, situations lived or imagined, sometimes absurd, sometimes strangely familiar. Everything around me is a source of inspiration: a color, a story, an animal, a look…

At night, I find the calm I need to create. I love this moment when everything slows down, when the imagination takes its place and where nothing seems impossible.

Between minimalism and surrealism, I paint what doesn't exist to talk about what exists very strongly. I paint dreams that have forgotten to wake up.
